PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Today, we are living in a more challenging and demanding environment. The rate of change in our living style is rapid with the technological advancement. This demands a new approach to education. We need to promote a globally relevant education, which will orient students to embody self-confidence and focus on the need to be life-long learners.
Our school setup is oriented to bolster the physical, emotional, social and cultural needs of the students. Our goal is to impart a value based education. We are conscious of the fact that emotional stability plays a very significant role in the healthy growth of a child. The school atmosphere evokes a team spirit amongst the students and teachers with a conviction that we can bring in a difference. The motto of the school “LOVE AND SERVICE” constantly impresses us to achieve greater heights.
It is great honour for me to present my view on the commitments of each sector of this educational institution, which is of vital importance to us as parents, students, staff, and administrators engaged in forming our society, our nation and our civilization.
Dear Students,
We are in an impressionable age and it is the age for work and progress. In all our diversions, we should not forget our priority, and our priority is to advance ourselves in learning. Our parents, guardians and well-wishers are waiting with bated breath, to see us come out successful, and if and when we do so, when we fulfill their expectations, we fulfil our primary mission. My message to you, dear students, is that on no account should we forget our goal of acquiring learning and knowledge. This is the objective for which we come to the school everyday. We must prove ourselves worthy of our parents’ ideal and establish in life as responsible citizens. When we think of this noble ideal of our parents, their aims of seeing us settled in life, it should pain us to see their ambition demolished through our frolicsome and careless ways. We should take the vow therefore, on this day, that, come what may, we would not veer from our objective and spend all efforts to crown us with glory in our student period. Dear students, we have to be conscious about the world around us. We cannot and should not keep our eyes shut to our surroundings, to the happenings around us. We are privileged ones, we are receiving education which many boys and girls of our age, of our land, are being deprived of. Apart from these, we should take interest and participate in games and sports. These co-curricular activities are an integral part of our lives, just as important are improvements in our cultural and artistic sides, like dramatics, music, debates and other institutional activities which would free our minds from the pressure of studies, and enrich our mental capacities. Involvement in all these activities, however, is to be on a balanced scale. We should never step off the middle path that would lead us to our educational achievements. We are never to be indifferent to our learning and progress. Along with our own studies, we should study the pros and cons of our existing system and should be aware of plugging in the loopholes, if any. Dear students, what I wish to speak out to you, would never be complete without mentioning the negative and unproductive sides of our activities. Laziness, lack of the spirit of competition, addiction to anything, idle gossiping, unnecessary pride, etc. are the minus points in the students’ life. These guidelines you are to remember, and make effective in life. Thank you.
